刚才拉了一下 Emacs 源代码，发现今天的几个提交都是 RMS 的：

我印象中RMS已脱离一线开发。Emacs的项目领导是Eli Zaretskii。RMS念念不忘的就是把Emacs变成word processor，和Microsoft Word竞争。

把emacs做为日常办公软件，我觉得是 有前景的，如果仅仅只用于写代码，那天某些用户改行不做programmer了，emacs岂不是没有用武之地了

I did git pull and it said there were conflicts. I resolved the conflicts and committed them. Then I did git pull again and it asked me why I was doing the merge. I could not think of any reason except that git demanded it.

I have never tried rebasing. I have been taught that you can easily die of an overdose that way. Oh, sorry, that was “freebasing”.

市场需求肯定是有的。难点是开发资金哪里来。

Emacs做为编程工具程序员就可以兼产品经理，测试，和销售。但面向普通用户文本处理软件，就要资金雇佣这些人了。GNU给我印象一直很穷。
